Kyoto Soap
£7Kyoto · Soap
The hinoki bathhouse. Temple incense. A moss garden in the rain. Kyoto is the quietest collection and it has to stay that way — over-decorating it would flatten the contrast that makes the other six work.
The soap sets sharp citrus over soft wood: yuzu, green tea, hinoki. The candle is dry, woody and quiet — hinoki, cedar and incense smoke, the opposite of Arabia. The diffuser stays clean and green with green tea, yuzu and bamboo.
The pattern is seigaiha: overlapping concentric arcs forming a field of waves, ancient and endlessly repeating — the most serene of the seven, the simplest to execute, and kept deliberately simple. Matte throughout, no metallic finish. Joins after the launch three.
Everything shares the Kyoto palette and carries the Seigaiha pattern.
